Hand build moon jar with milky white textured glaze. The glaze almost looks like the milk foam you find on a café latte or my fave a flat white. Where the glaze has two layers it acts a bit like shino and gets more yellow. On some parts of the moon jar the raw, sandy, clay shines through.
The color of foamy, textured glaze reminds me of coffee foam, this moon jar is named after one of the coffee's in the BTS song Coffee.

The moon jar was the Korean symbol for beauty at the end of the 17th century. Their organic shape and (originally) milky white color resembles the moon.
The asymmetrical shape is formed by two halves that are joined in the middle. The seam, cracks, color differences and the irregular shape are left visual to accentuate the human touch and to show the craftsmanship.
Koreans believe that beauty comes with imperfection and humility.
